Hello everyone,
I watched Parasakthi recently, and I felt like sharing a few thoughts here.
Some films you watch and move on from, and some films stay with you for a while. Parasakthi was that kind of experience for me.
More than anything, this felt personal. When you know the people behind a film, you don’t just see what’s on screen. You also think about the journey behind it – the time, the effort, and the belief that goes into bringing something like this together.
Directed by Sudha Kongara ma’am, the film touches on a space that is not easy to approach. It reminded me how important it is for cinema to step beyond comfort zones once in a while and explore subjects that carry weight.
Seeing Sivakarthikeyan in this space also felt interesting, as it reflects how actors continue to evolve and take on different kinds of stories.
What I connected with most is the intent behind the film. You can sense that it comes from a place of wanting to say something meaningful. That, for me, is always important.
The scale of the film also made me think about the effort behind it. Knowing that it has been backed by Aakash Baskaran brother under the Dawn Pictures banner, you can feel the belief and commitment that has gone into bringing this project to life.
The music by G. V. Prakash Kumar brother also stayed with me. It supports the film in a subtle way and adds to the overall experience without trying to stand apart from it.
On a personal level, it felt good to see something like this come together. When you are aware of the people and the effort behind it, every moment feels a little more meaningful.
I don’t want to analyse the film or break it down, because that’s not the intention here. This is just me acknowledging the journey behind it.
At the end of the day, cinema is about people, relationships, and shared effort. Watching Parasakthi reminded me of that.
I’m sure the film will continue to reach more audiences and receive the love it deserves.
Wishing the entire team the very best.
