Plot Summary

“2.0” revolves around the consequential impact of excessive technological usage in the modern world, with birds facing the brunt of it. Pakshi Rajan, once a respected ornithologist, witnesses a drastic reduction in the bird population. This decline is directly attributed to the harmful radiation emitted by mobile phones. Distraught, he fervently tries to convey the severe ecological imbalance it’s causing to telecom industries and the general public, but his earnest efforts are met with negligence and ridicule.

This leads him to take a drastic step, ultimately giving him a formidable and supernatural ability to harness the power of mobile phones. He uses this newfound power to turn the very devices humans depend upon against them, causing havoc in the city. Phones fly out of people’s hands, forming menacing patterns and unpredictable displays, signaling a wake-up call to humanity.

As the city grapples with this unprecedented threat, Dr. Vaseegaran, the eminent scientist, is called upon for a solution. Recognizing the gravity of the situation and the intricate bond between Pakshi Rajan’s angst and the cell phones, Dr. Vaseegaran decides to bring back his creation – Chitti the robot. As Chitti confronts the force unleashed by Pakshi Rajan, the narrative unfolds, delving deeper into the confrontation between nature and technological advancement.
